  My dogs tail knocked some stuff over, and I fully intended on picking up the mess until an associate came over complaining to another associate. She said "oh my god, what happened to my end cap, I just did this" She was being spiteful, knowing we had something to do with it.

  I spent over $230.00 in fish and aquarium items. I purchased 21 tropical fish to add to my existing tank. Within 4 days one of the fish, which never seemed well, died so I returned it to the store. I intend to purchase another 10 neon tetra. While I was returning the poor dead fish the cashier and the aquarium guy had this little discussion in which I heard the cashier say "yeah, that's her ". I then went over to see about getting some additional tetra and was told I could not purchase anymore fish because I returned a fish. The only way they'd allow me to purchase more fish is if I brought in a sample of my aquarium water to be tested.
  I get it - they don't want to keep selling fish if i had issues with my tank water that would keep killing the fish. But, 1 fish out of 21! Come on! Fish die! I wasn't returning several fish! Just one!
  It would have been nice if they had explained this policy during my original purchase. I'm not going to drive an additional 28 miles to get my water tested. Petco has forever lost my business.
  
  Oh - plus the lady who originally sold me the fish tried to tell me that a betta they had was the result of breeding a koi with a betta. Seriously! I should have walked out of there at that point.
